East Village has welcomed a new pop-up to host cutting edge creative technology workshops and events for local architects, designers, artists and kids.
D-Lab which is now open on the corner of Penny Brookes Street and Mirabelle Gardens is offering a series of tech events from coding to design, 3D print jewellery making to VR and AR application buildings.
Workshops will provide an opportunity to build on skills used within the creative industries and inspire kids to get involved in a new generation of design technology.

Lego Architects Club (ages 6+)
Every Wednesday 4.30pm to 5.30pm
Discover the diverse range of architectural styles on display around London and then work alongside real architects to design your own buildings using the world's favourite building material - LEGO.
Creative Coding Weekend
Saturday 27 - Sunday 28 October, 10am - 6pm
Design with data, build interactive art, and publish your work to the web on this beginner weekend workshop.

D-Lab is planning to open a permanent space in E20 in the new year when it will bring a new co-working concept to East Village. From Spring 2019, D-Lab will offer affordable desk rental for those working in the creative industry, a cutting-edge community makerspace, and a regular programme of workshops.
Unlike any other co-working space in London members will have use of laser cutters, VR/AR equipment, industrial robotics, and 3D printers to prototype and innovate within their craft.
