The Christmas bells will be soon be ringing in East Village as we kick off the festive season with a jolly Christmas market, complete with a FREE carousel and life-size snow globe on Friday 30th November and Saturday 1st December.
Things will be getting merry from 6:30pm on Friday when the Christmas lights will be switched on and accompanied with carols by the E20 choir. Throughout the evening and on Saturday (from 12pm to 6pm) there will be music artists playing live acoustic covers of everyone’s favourite festive hits.
Market-goers on both days will also be able to whiz around a free carousel and take the perfect Christmas photo in a life-size snow globe, complete with snow cannons creating mini flurries to frolic in.
For those wanting to pick up some early Christmas presents and stocking fillers, there will be a range of market stalls selling everything from clothing to homeware and food stalls serving winter warmers.
Visitors who like to get crafty at Christmas can also join a festive themed workshop with Obby. Watch this space for details on how you can get involved.
