This autumn sees the return of East Village's Supper Clubs, where diners can sample new and creative menus from some of the neighbourhood's much-loved independent restaurants and cafes.

Curated by Get Living, which offers homes for rent in E20, the series will run every Wednesday evening from 9 - 30 October.

On the menu this month, foodies can experience unique dishes from Italy's Piedmont region with Darkhorse, a selection of Naples' classics with a twist at Santi's, or indulge in Signorelli's freshly baked menu ideas as well as a banquet of Asian favourites from Chop Shop.

Wednesday 9 October: Santi

Santi kicks off the series with an indulgent four-course Neapolitan menu starting with a trio of mini-pizzas made with an alternative cereal-based dough.

The second course combines two pasta favourites - salmon trofie and butternut squash risotto - which is then followed by a choice of a veal or vegetable and ricotta cheese main dish. Then to end, Torta Caprse - a traditional rich chocolate and almond cake.

Tickets from PS19pp (+ booking fee) available here.

As the latest restaurant to open in East Village, pan-Asian kitchen Chop Shop will be hosting a 10-course banquet bringing together classic dishes from China, Thailand and Vietnam.

Guests will be welcomed with a choice of either a Saketini or Asian Pear Martini cocktail. Serving everything from spring rolls and crispy duck pancakes to beef short rib rendang and sticky squid, this supper club has been designed to get people sharing and chatting over delicious food.

Wednesday 23 October: Signorelli

Italian artisan bakery Signorelli is offering a hands-on dining experience, inviting supper club goers to make their own Bruschetta, choosing from a locally-sourced platter of cured meats, cheeses, olives, crostini, focaccia, chickpeas, and marinated tomatoes.

For main, a rosemary, garlic and black pepper breaded crust roasted beef will be served with rosemary potatoes and seasonal vegetables (vegetarian options are available).

With Halloween approaching, desert will take a spooky turn where diners will decorate ghost cookies to take home, supported by Signorelli's pastry team, as well as enjoying a selection of hand-made cakes served with specialty tea or coffee.

Working in collaboration with Les Cave de Pyrene wine merchants and Guilio Cocchi Vermouth (whose vermouth recipe dates back to 1891) the chefs have paired every course with some of the area's best wines for an extra PS30pp.
