Balmy nights and cosy beanbags drew in the crowds for the second East Village Outdoor Cinema this month, with hundreds enjoying the four nights of film viewing.

From Thursday 15 September through to Sunday 18 September Victory Park in the centre of East Village played host to Nomad Cinema's giant inflatable screen as the charity brought four classic films to the people of E20 and beyond.

Thursday saw Jim Carey in The Truman Show, while on Friday cooler temperatures didn't deter a hefty crowd descending for the recent kids film that's become a favourite with adults - Inside Out. Saturday saw a bumper crowd for Mad Max: Fury Road, while the grand finale saw a very busy Victory Park crowd enjoy Camden Voice Choir performing ahead of the classic romcom When Harry Met Sally.

Visitors were able to enjoy hot grub from our local retailers, with Signorelli Bakery providing hot cheese toasties and prosecco, while Mama Lan offered up Beijing Street Food. It was a lovely atmosphere, as film goers stretched out on beanbags, blankets and in one case even a tent, in the gathering dusk of our lovely green getaway in East London.
