The annual East Village Christmas Makers Market is back, and is guaranteed to infuse any visitors with that warm, fuzzy Christmas feeling!

This year the market, which focuses on hand-crafted goods, is inspired by "Hygge", and is completely FREE entry. Hygge - the Danish art of living cosily - is all about savouring simple pleasures, nuturing and enjoying good times with great people, an ethos with considerable prominence in East Village. Visitors can expect all forms of cosiness and conviviality at the market, combining ambient interiors, entertainment, comfort food and fashion - the perfect way to fully infuse yourself with that Christmas spirit.

The annual market is set to be open on Saturdays and Sundays for three weekends running, with a selection of London artisans invited to showcase their products including Att Pynta, BLASTA, HENRIET, Briggs & Shears and Geo-Fleur. Some traders will also be running workshops for anyone wanting to try their hand at making their own personalised Christmas decorations, or even picking up a new hobby. A wreath making workshop is already available for booking, and you can book your spot here.

The market opened on November 26th, and runs from 11am-6pm on Saturdays, and 11am-4pm on Sundays. You can find it on West Park Walk in the heart of East Village, with easy access not only to the market but also to the vast array of independent makers dotted around East Village.

On Sunday 11th December Danish actress and Hygge expert Marie Tourell Soderberg will be doing a Q&A session with Norweigan blogger the Scandinavialist, and you can register for free tickets here. During the session Marie and the Scandinavialist will share anecdotes on how you can be more hygge through delicious recipes, easy tweaks to your home interiors and making time for 'hygge moments' in a busy life.

Not only that but in the #PimpMyTree pop-up unit just opposite the market you can also enjoy getting your beard or pocked pimped...for FREE! Hipsters can jazz up their beards and pockets for the festive period in the market and ensure they really stand out from the crowd this Christmas.

Here are just some of the exciting makers you can look forward to enjoying on the final weekend:

You can also get involved yourself to learn the Maker's craft and create something special for a loved one at workshops running at the market.
