Counting the days until FIFA World Cup? Interested in Wimbledon? Following Tour de France? Sports fans like you will be spoilt for choice this summer as the Big Screen returns to East Village, this year in Victory Park, showing everything from football to tennis, cycling to motor racing.
From 14 June to 30 August, E20 residents and visitors will be able to enjoy a programme of sporting events including The World Cup, Wimbledon, US Open, Grand Prix, Tour De France and many more. Key dates for your diary include:
- England’s First World Cup match: 18 June (19:00)
- World Cup Semi Finals: 10 & 11 July (19:00)
- World Cup Final: 15 July (16:00)
- Wimbledon Ladies’ Final: 14 July
- Wimbledon Men’s Final: 15 July
While kicking back to watch the games unfold, you can sample the best of East Village’s cafes, bars and restaurants, some of which will be serving up sporting themed treats.
