  • Hipsters opt for twinkling fairy lights as the latest way to add an extra festive touch to chin fuzz in 2016’s hottest Christmas trend
  • East Village E20 providing beard pimping service to gentlemen wanting to adorn themselves with the yuletide facial hair accessory
  • FREE service as part of East Village Christmas Maker’s Market, open Sunday 11th December 11am-4pm

Monday 5th December: First it was glitter beards, then 2015 saw the arrival of beard baubles and now Christmas 2016 is set to be the year where fairy lights take their place as the hipster facial hair decorating choice.

As beards have become ever-more popular, and ever-lengthening, amongst the population they have become part of the Christmas-party look and this year is no exception with lights of myriad colours, styles and adornment set to take the hirsute population by storm.

With East London the home of the hipster, East Village E20 is offering the bearded gentleman the chance to have the look created for them by an expert beard stylist, who is also on hand to offer tips and tricks to recreate the look throughout the festive season at the ‘Pimp My Beard’ stand.

Ladies, or beardless men, need not worry however as the stand will also provide festive hair decorations so they can recreate the look in the last few weeks leading up to Christmas Day.

The ‘Pimp My Beard’ stand will form part of the ‘Hygge’ themed Christmas Makers Market at East Village E20, a Christmas pop-up shopping experience. Visitors can expect all forms of cosiness and conviviality at the market, combining ambient interiors, entertainment, comfort food and stylish gifts – certain to ignite the Christmas feel-good factor. A selection of London artisans have been invited to showcase their products at the Christmas Makers Market*, combining some of the best new brands and crafts that the capital has to offer. The shopping space will curate beautiful hand-crafted goods under one roof and is set to be the perfect destination for those in search of unique Christmas gifts for loved ones.

The ‘Pimp My Beard’ stand will be located next to Pimp My Tree, an offering that promises to ensure you have the coolest Christmas tree in London. Choose a tree and then jazz it up with shiny, glittery and quirky decorations ranging from the Flamingo lights to Purple LEDs and disco baubles, or pick a pre-decorated one instore.
