Dust off your sparklers and toffee apples for a Guy Fawkes extravaganza, with the Theatre of Light returning to East Village for the second year running.

After the success of the stunning fabulous feast for the senses last year, the free, non-ticketed Theatre of Light event is back on Friday 2 November for another dazzling display of LED entertainment, bigger, brighter and better than ever before!

Last year delighted crowds of all ages descended on East Village for a spectacular show of lights, parades and acrobats, and those returning for more will not be disappointed.

From 7pm to 8pm, E20’s streets will be illuminated by a light parade featuring lanterns, LED winged ballerinas, hula-hoopers and jugglers and stilt walkers.

The parade will start at 7pm on West Park Walk and be led by international street-theatre group Spark! who will give a magical performance composed of light and sound. The spectacle will come to a brilliant finale in Victory Park with an electrifying light show and DJ set which is an experience you will not want to miss.

We’ll have market stalls serving hot food and drink from 6:30pm and UV face painting artists to get you looking radiant - watch this space for more information.
