Temporary closure of the East Village BBQ areas

Following London-wide guidance from the London Fire Brigade (LFB), we are temporarily closing the BBQ areas in East Village.

The current extremely dry conditions increase the likelihood of grass fires and the LFB are reporting that they have seen a sevenfold increase in calls to grass fires compared to last year.

Keeping East Village safe for everyone is something we take very seriously and we thank you for your understanding.

Instead of a BBQ, why not take a picnic to Victory Park and watch summer sport on our big screen.
