Supper Clubs are back in East Village this autumn, offering a series of sensory dining experiences.
Diners will feast their eyes on extravagant dishes, get their hands dirty with interactive sessions and surprise their taste buds with menus creatively designed to awaken the senses of sight, taste, touch, smell, and sound.
First in the series is Gelato - as you’ve never seen it before, hosted by Italian gelato experts La Gelatiera on Wednesday 17 October at 7pm. The supper club features six sweet and savoury courses and cocktails, each centring around Italian ice cream.
From ‘Panzanella al Gelato’, a delicious Tuscan salad with extra virgin olive oil gelato, to ‘Avo-fantastico’, avocado with a chill and dark chocolate sorbet stone, these unique, eye-popping creations are perfect for the ‘gram. View the full menu here.

Still to come in the eight-part series is a pizza making (and eating) workshop with Firezza on 24 October, an evening of authentic Italian tastes with Appetite on 31 October and symphonies from the Aegean Sea with Ginger & Mint on 7 November.
Make and bake with Firezza (sense: touch)
Knead and hand stretch your own authentic Italian pizza and personalise with your favourite toppings. Bingo will also be played throughout the evening, with the winner receiving a big basket of premium Firezza ingredients and wines, bellissimo! Una serata dai sapori Italiani: An evening of true Italian flavours with Appetite (sense: taste)
Challenge and indulge the taste buds with a menu with mouth-watering flavours from pumpkin veloute to succulent beef. This seasonal Italian menu is designed for foodies with a sophisticated palate who will be asked to guess the starter ingredients on the night for the chance to win a £30 voucher.

Symphonies of the Aegean Sea with Ginger & Mint (sense: sound)
The Aegean is a region famous for its natural beauty, hospitable locals and unique food. Join Ginger & Mint for an evening of Middle Eastern dishes (many are vegan and gluten free), accompanied by live music from the Aegean Sea region, performed by a solo artist.

A night out with Darkhorse & Gin Mare (sense: taste)
Darkhorse has teamed up with the experts at Gin Mare to create a five-course Mediterranean tasting menu with drinks to match each course. The unique botanicals in Gin Mare – Arbequina olive, rosemary, thyme and basil – make for some creative cocktails designed to complement simple seasonal dishes which include Gin Mare cured salmon with cucumber and beetroot crème fraiche, Fines de Claire oysters and wild boar ragu.

Soul Train Supper with Village Vanguard (sense: sound)
A night remembering and paying homage to the forgotten soul train. Enjoy Southern food such as vegetarian gumbo, Jambalaya and fried plantain and then dance the night away with sounds of Soul.

Indian Vegan with Ted’s Veg (sense: touch)
Ted’s Veg will be inviting a traditional henna artist to decorate the hands of diners after they’ve enjoyed a four-course Indian vegan menu. Enjoy mixed grain and vegetable kebabs with tomato and curry leaf broth, spiced crusted tofu and corn with coconut curry, vegetable biryani and an apple and cinnamon pancake with carrot-tahini sauce.
