Santi join with the Bake Off's Benjamina for National Pizza Day!

Work up an appetite this week as on Friday you'll need to save space for the arrival of National Pizza Day in East Village!

On Friday 9 February, Santi Restaurant on Victory Parade will be celebrating National Pizza day and you can enjoy a generous 30% off all pizzas! As if that wasn’t enough, Benjamína Ebuehi, the Great British Bake off 2016’s contestant will be hosting a pizza making workshop on Thursday 8^th February from 5.30pm until 8.15pm.

Benjamína was a quarter-finalist from the class of 2016, and won over the nation with her old meets innovative bakes. Although she was a teaching assistant when the show was airing, she has now decided to follow her cooking passion full time. Alongside Bonita Ivie, she has recently launched The Sister Table, a series of brunch clubs and events for millennial women, that celebrate sisterhood and encourage women to sit at their table and eat with the pair.

Benjamína, and Head Pizza chef at Santi, Michele Marzetti and Giacomo di Giorgio, will ensure you and your guest will get your hands doughy and learn how to make authentic Italian pizza. Stretch, shape and create your own pizza from scratch. Create a delicious classic pizza or go rogue with your creation.

It will be a great occasion to learn about pizza, its origins, ingredients and how to make a great Napolitano pizza.

Whether you are a chef in the making or pizza is your favourite thing to eat, join Benjamína, Michele & Giacomo at Santi for an evening of fun.

To join us on Thursday 8 February, enter the competition via Benjamína’s Instagram account. Participants will be required to follow @BakedByBenji, @Santirestaurant & @EastVillageLDN and tag their guest into the post alongside the time they’d like to attend the workshop – 17:45, 18:15, 18:45, 19:15, 19:45 or 20:15. Entry to the competition will open on Monday 5^th February and will close on Wednesday 7 February at 12pm. The winner will be announced on the same day at 6pm.

The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes permit the winner and guest to participate in a 30 minutes pizza making workshop at Santi, East Village E20.
