East Village, London’s newest neighbourhood, has teamed up Theatre Royal Stratford East to offer Newham residents the opportunity to access top quality theatre for just £2.50 per ticket. East Village’s sponsorship of the organisation’s Newham Discount Nights is a new and exciting venture that will enable residents to watch a whole range of shows across the year.
The scheme was launched on Tuesday 17 September where audiences from across the borough had the opportunity to see Love N Stuff, a hilarious and uplifting new comedy by the award-winning writer Tanika Gupta.
Kerry Michael, Artistic Director of Theatre Royal Stratford East said: “We’re delighted to be working with our new neighbours Get Living London and Triathlon Homes on this important new partnership that is set to offer Newham residents a fantastic opportunity to see great theatre for just £2.50 a ticket.”
