A day of delectable indulgence is making its way to East London, in the form of a FREE festival of chocolate.
Forget Christmas coming early, this year Easter is - with it being celebrated in East Village London on the 19th March, making sure that everyone has the opportunity to indulge their sweet tooth, with some luxury learnings and tastings to be enjoyed.
From 12pm - 8pm in Victory Park, this free choc-tastic pop-up event will play host to the best chocolatiers the capital has to offer, perfect for those looking for the finest Easter chocolate gifts. There will be an array of retailers offering chocolatey-themed delights, as well as experts providing lessons, tastings, Easter Egg hunts and chocolate parties all to be enjoyed.
Easter Egg Hunt
Families: 12 – 4pm
- Decorate a basket with the East Village Resident’s Association
- Head off to collect chocolate eggs at over 10 of the East Village Retailers
Prize: Salted Caramel and Chocolate fudge from Yum Yum Tree Fudge.
Over 18’s: 4 – 8pm
- Head off to collect an array of samplings along the way including tasters of chocolate liquors, cocktails and much more.

FREE Oh La La Chocolate Making Workshops with Ela Harpak in the Marquee, Victory Parade: 12.30 – 1pm, 1.20-1.50pm, 2.10-2.40pm and 3-3.30pm
Fun for all the family with the opportunity to decorate your own chocolate Easter Eggs and bunnies, or make your own chocolate chick. You will need to register on the day - there are only 30 spaces per session which will go on a first come first serve basis.
FREE Make and Bake: Chocolate Dumplings with Mamalan on Victory Parade: Throughout the day
Beijing Street Food specialist Mamalan will be giving away some of their cooking secrets, providing workshops where you can make chocolate dumplings filled with one of your favourite mini eggs!
An afternoon with Master Chocolatier Paul Wayne Gregory in the Marquee, Victory Parade: 4-5.30pm
Enjoy two sessions: A Master Class and a Tasting Class from ultimate master chocolatier Paul Wayne Gregory, for just £25 per head.
The Master Class will teach you the art of chocolate making, complete with techniques, ingredients and why some chocolate has a longer shelf life than others. The second part of the sessions, the Tasting Class will give attendees the chance to sample different types of chocolate, how to identify flavours, and explore what makes a chocolate really indulgent. In this session, every attendee will leave with a box of Paul Wayne Gregory’s chocolates which usually RRP for £19.95.
