Always wanted to try out yoga but never made it to a class? Just grab your yoga mat and join us for a series of free yoga and wellbeing workshops on our ‘Wellness Day’! Yes, you have heard it right – you don't even have to get out of your favourite neighbourhood, E20!
On Saturday 23rd June (11am – 4pm), following on from World Yoga Day [21st June], E20’s ‘Wellness Day’ will host a programme of classes in and around Victory Park in the heart of East Village from baby yoga to high intensity yoga, as well as group meditation to get you in the ‘zen’.
Sessions will be led by qualified instructors from FIX, East Village’s yoga studio and sports clinic; Our Parks, a local community initiative which provides free exercise across London and Heartfulness, a relaxation and meditation space in Stratford. Spaces will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis, see full schedule below:

After mastering the downward dog, aspiring yogis like you are invited to join wellness workshops which are being run by Obby, a collective of creative ‘makers’ and teachers in London. If you want to embrace this season’s bohemian look, you will have the chance to make a floral crown at 12pm at Fish House while enjoying a mid-summer smorgasbord of Swedish tapas.
From 12pm - 2pm a ‘Mindfulness through Mandala’ class at 27-30 Victory Parade will teach you how to make a spiritual patterned weave to aid your meditation. From 2pm to 3:00pm, the Botanical Boys will be running a Terrarium Masterclass; those who attend will be able to take home their own handmade garden in jar to enhance their homes. Sounds fun, isn’t it?
FitFam Studios, E20’s personal training studio will also be setting fitness challenges for the chance to win a PT session.
Charlotte Fletcher, General Manager at East Village, said: “Wellbeing is at the heart of what we do at Get Living – we create places where people love to live – and so we’ve bent over backwards to bring in the best yoga and meditation practitioners to help visitors relax their body and minds.”
See you there! Namaste.
