  • New Trapped in a Prison Van experience coming to East Village, E20
  • Guests are challenged to figure their way out of a real-life prison van before time runs out
  • Other attractions include Trapped in a Room with a Zombie, Trapped Undercover: The Mobile Escape Game and the futuristic laser-tag Star Command: The Outpost Experience

East Village (E20) is launching an exciting new attraction, Trapped in a Prison Van, at the former London 2012 Athletes’ Village this March.

Taking place in an authentic ex-police van, the immersive experience challenges participants to figure their way out of the locked vehicle before time runs out. Guests will arrive at the location and don orange jumpsuits before being handcuffed and marched into the van, which is complete with locked prison cells and a menacing guard.

For thrill-seekers who aren’t satisfied with just breaking their way out of a prison van, there will also be two more escape rooms coming to East Village. The terrifying Trapped in a Room with a Zombie experience will be available for those looking to for a truly spine-tingling challenge as well as Trapped Undercover, which transports players into the world of MI6 on the hunt for a double agent.

The fun doesn’t stop there, as East Village will also be host to Star Command this March, a futuristic laser tag and VR gaming arcade. A premium provider of laser tag, the Star Command arena is intrinsically designed for just ten players at a time, requiring tactical thinking and skill to master the battle.

After the game, guests can continue the futuristic experience with a VR suite powered by HTC Vive. With over eight games to choose from, players can immerse themselves in a different (virtual) reality of their choice.

For those who work up an appetite during the fun and games, East Village has a great range of independent restaurants, cafés and bars to visit. Re-fuel with tasty food and drink from these retailers:
