East Village Outdoor Film Festival is a roaring success!

This August Victory Park has played host to four FREE outdoor film screenings, with filmgoers enjoying a range of classic and modern films.

Get Living London teamed up with The Nomad Cinema to offer the free screenings for Thelma & Louise, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Lost Boys and Paddington, with everyone tuning in via wireless ehadsets.

The basin like shape of the Victory Park corner proved to be a perfect alfresco ampitheatre as residents and visitors to E20 enjoyed sprawling out on giant beanbags, while indulging in wines and beers from Bottle Apostle, as well as a range of pop up food stands including Shrimpy and Athenia.

The Nomad pop-up cinema screenings were part of Get Living London’s programme of free summer events and followed on from the Tapas, Beer & Cider Festival in June and the Wimbledon-themed E20 Fair in July.
