East Village Film Festival

This August FREE outdoor cinema screenings have been taking over Victory Park in East Village!

London’s favourite pop-up outdoor cinema expert, The Nomad Cinema, has teamed up with Get Living London at East Village E20 to offer, for the very first time, free screenings of four hugely popular films.

So far this month audiences have enjoyed the classic Thelma & Louise and the quirky Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Minds, while tonight (Friday) will bring the 80s vampire thriller The Lost Boys, before it is all rounded off with Paddington on Sunday night. There will also be food and drink stalls on hand, and we ask everyone to arrive by no later than 8.30pm.

Although the ballot for tickets has closed, we encourage film fans to come along as we do our best to ensure everyone can get in to join in the fun. Please also keep a close eye here and on our twitter and facebook channels for further updates.

Thursday 6th August - Thelma & Louise
Friday 7th August – Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Friday 14th August – The Lost Boys
Sunday 16th August – Paddington

On arrival at Victory Park each guest will be able to sit back and relax on bean bags, tuning into the film via wireless headsets. The Nomad pop-up cinema screenings are part of Get Living London’s programme of FREE summer events as it transforms East Village E20 into the perfect summertime destination.
