To celebrate the start of the festive season, East Village E20 is hosting a jolly Christmas market on Friday 30th November and Saturday 1st December.
A Christmas lights ceremony will kick off the festivities at 6:30pm on the Friday with winter warmers including mulled wine, hot chocolate and hot dogsall on offer, making it the perfect seasonal family evening out. To help get everyone in the merry spirit, visitors will be serenaded with carols by the E20 choir as well as stylish soul band, FUNKD, courtesy of Image Media.
The holiday fun doesn't stop there as market-goers will be able to whizz around a free carousel and take the perfect Christmas photo in a life-size snow globe, complete with flurries of 'snow' flakes. For those wanting to pick up some early Christmas presents and stocking stuffers, there will be a range of market stalls selling everything from books and apparel, to jewellery and bespoke cakes.
Visitors who like to add their own personal touch by creating their own Christmas gifts will be able to attend a festive workshop in partnership with Obby.
