Cheese & Beer Festival comes to East Village
Opens 29 Sep
Posted: 30.Aug.2018
Cheese lovers can go crackers at East Village’s next Saturday market on 29 September where we’ll be serving up a variety of delicious cheeses to be washed down with up-and-coming craft beer brands.
Whether fragrant french cheeses or mild & creamy cheddars are your thing, if you prefer a hoppy ale or gently crafted lager, your needs will be met at the festival of the finer things in life.
The East Village Cheese & Craft Beer Market will run from 11am – 4pm in East Village around Victory Park and will have stalls from independent London breweries including Big Hug Brewing, Hiver, Kernel Brewery, Kill The Cat and Old Kent Road Brewery alongside quirky cheese offerings from Drunk Cheese and Cheese Lava.
For foodies who want to feed their minds as well as their stomachs, we’ll have cheese evangelist Ned Palmer from The Cheese Tasting Company and beer connoisseur Rebecca Pate from Hackney’s Five Points Brewery Co speaking at the market.
Ned and Rebecca will give interactive talks on the magic of cheese and beer accompanied by samplings to whet your appetite. Whether you’re looking to learn more about the history of cheese or how best to pair beer with a variety of dairy delights, there is something to pique everyone’s interest.
The one-day market is free to attend and open to all ages – we hope to see you there!
