Mama Lan and Darkhorse Restaurants add some flavour to Victory Parade.

A touch of spice is just the thing to warm your up as the temperatures drop this winter, and with two new restaurants in East Village you need not look any further.

November has seen both Mama Lan and Darkhorse Restaurant and Bar open their doors to E20, with residents and visitors alike clamouring to get a taste of their gastonomic delights!

Darkhorse Restaurant and Bar brings Italian and Spanish influenced food and drink to the table, all wrapped in a British attitude.

You can find the new eatery on Victory Parade opposite Victory Park, next to the next foody heaven due to open in East Village - Mama Lan's Beijing Street Food. As well as it's range of devastatingly tasty food, visitors will also be able to enjoy cocktails, local beers and an extensive wine list.

Bringing Beijing Street Food from their grandparents recipes in China to East Village is Mama Lan, who specialise in handmade dumplings, noodle soups, salads and teas.

They started as a pop-up in Brixton and it has gathered momentum ever since, inspired by their grandparents dumpling snack stall in the bustling street markets in the Chinese capital of Beijing. Now they can be found next to Darkhorse Restaurant opposite Victory Park.
